MLA College is a global, award-winning Higher Education provider specialising in the delivery of UK distance learning degrees, predominantly for the marine and maritime sector.

Founded in 2012, MLA College (formerly known as Marine Learning Alliance Ltd) was initially based within the University of Plymouth, our partner institution. But now, we are a registered Higher Education Institution in England in accordance with section 4(5) of the Higher Education and Research Act, 2017 (HERA).

Our programme

Our programme delivery has been designed with the working professional in mind. Whether working at sea, or ashore, our Total Learning Package (TLP) allows you to study an undergraduate or postgraduate maritime UK degree, awarded by the University of Plymouth, regardless of your global location.

The TLP allows you to download your course materials so you can study on or offline at a pace that suits you. There are no live lectures, which allows you to balance your career and other life commitments whilst pursuing your university online degree.
