GBS has been successful at the Purpose Coalition’s Breaking Down Barriers Awards 2025, recognising outstanding contributions to breaking down barriers to opportunity.
The awards recognise individuals, organisations and initiatives that work tirelessly to promote opportunity, diversity and social inclusion across the UK.
At the awards ceremony held in Parliament House, GBS, along with GEDU were successful in the ‘Opportunity for All, Everyone, Everywhere’ category amongst nominees Aldermore, Enterprise Mobility, c2c and Teleperformance.
Congratulating the winners, Chair of the Purpose Coalition and former Education Secretary, Rt Hon Justine Greening, said:
“I am delighted to be able to honour each of our winners today with an award for their contribution to delivering opportunity. Chair of the Breaking Down Barriers Commission and former member of Sir Keir Starmer’s Shadow Cabinet, Nick Forbes CBE, said:
