Published release: PR Newswire – GBS Graduation Ceremony 2026 

GBS announced that 6,000 graduates were celebrating their achievements at ceremonies across Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester and London during summer 2026. 

The release highlighted graduates progressing into employment, entrepreneurship and further study in areas including construction, business, digital technologies and health and social care. It also emphasised the profile of GBS's student body, noting that many students had combined higher education with careers, businesses and family commitments and that the average graduate was aged 41. 

It featured graduate examples including Kamrul Islam and included comments from former MP and GBS adviser Virendra Sharma about graduation representing determination, resilience and ambition. The release also connected the ceremonies with the recently announced NSS results.
