GBS announced that it had outperformed the UK higher education sector across all seven core themes of the 2026 NSS.

The results were based on 6,488 published student responses, 1,087 more than in 2025. The highest satisfaction results were for Teaching on my Course and Academic Support, both at 92.9%. 

The release connected the results with GBS's 2026 graduation season, during which 6,000 students were graduating across Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester and London. 

James Kennedy, CEO of GBS, said the results reflected the dedication of students and colleagues and GBS's focus on the student experience. He also said the results provided motivation to continue listening to students and improving education and support. 

The release notes a publication response rate of 81.2%.
