MLA College announced the launch of its new MSc Project Management, validated by The Open University, as the College expands its academic portfolio into the social sciences. The programme will be delivered through distance learning, with successful students receiving an Open University validated award.

The 180-credit MSc is designed for professionals seeking to develop advanced project management knowledge and leadership capabilities across industries and organisational settings. It builds on MLA College’s established distance-learning model, which enables professionals to combine postgraduate study with work and other commitments.

The release also highlights MLA College’s broader validated partnership with The Open University. Professor Mark Durkin, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Partnerships and Enterprise at The Open University, said the partnership enables MLA College to offer higher education programmes leading to Open University validated awards. The first MSc Project Management intake begins in September 2026.
